We don’t sell “off the shelf packages” or repurpose the same ideas over and over again. Everything we build is custom tailored to meet your unique needs, goals and budgets. To give accurate pricing, we review your particular requirements and do a full project discovery meeting to nail down the goals and deliverables and provide a set price that works for your budget. Lots of variables impact budgets including number of meetings, complexity, functionality, content migration and more.

We have created websites for under $8,000 and we have created sites for $80,000 and more. We’ve designed simple logos for $1,000 and complex ones for $5,000.  There is no set price for the work we do as everything is highly customized. But here are a few rough guidelines on our design fees:

Logo Design:

Most of the logos we design range from $2,000 to $3,500+. Very simple logos start at $1,500, but will be hard to do anything too creative at this rate. Prices include the final logo in various formats and a simple one or two page guide showing the logo, fonts and colours.

Swerve can also design a full branding guide book showing how the logo is used in brochures, websites, stationery, signage etc. Costs for brand guide books will vary greatly depending on the level of detail required.

Annual Report Design:

Most Reports will range from $5,000 to $12,000.

Cost drivers are: complexity of design, number of pages, do we need to create diagrams and charts? Will there be a photo shoot? We also have a great writer that works with us if you need help on the text as well. David Johnson leads most of the annual report design work here at Swerve.

Brochure Design:

Price will depend greatly on if you have done brochures in the past and have an established look and feel, or if we are “starting from scratch”. Prices may range from $2,500 to $6,000. David Johnson leads most of the print design work here at Swerve.

Website Design:

Our website design fees can range from $8,000 to $25,000+ depending on the requirements. Most simple WordPress website with custom design are around $10,000 and increase to $15,000 – $18,000 if we include additional customized functionality. Highly customized projects can push your budget to tens of thousands of dollars depending on your requirements.

Some clients already have a web programmer / developer and only need help with the design. Fees for just the design only of a site may range from $3,500 to $5,000.

And please note that our minimum studio charge is $1,000 (about a days work). We will require a deposit to start your project.

Printing is additional for all projects. We are not printers, but we work with some really good ones here in Toronto so should be able to help you out here too.
